Hey, there! I’m Shayla Monique and I’m so excited you’re here! I’m a product manager by day, who loves nothing more than creating beautiful and organized lives for myself and others. When I’m not working, you can find me reading, painting, traveling, planning events, or snapping photos. I’m particularly fond of abstract art and love creating pieces that people can use to add some personality to your home or special event.
My art journey started when I bought my first house several years ago and couldn’t find any art that really spoke to my soul. As a first time home buyer, I didn’t exactly have a ton of money left over to splurge on home decor, but I really wanted my home to feel special and unique to me. After many hours of searching, but not finding any art that really spoke to my soul, I decided to make my own. So I bought some paint and canvas and created the most hideous thing I’d ever seen. So much for making it myself, right? Lol. But fast forward a few years and now I can create gorgeous pieces on huge canvases. I love painting so much that I have more art than I have space to hang everything in my house, so I’m constantly looking for ways to display as many pieces as possible, whether it be on my tv’s screensaver, notebooks, pillows, or even leggings, just to name a few.
In addition to my creative pursuits, I’m an avid traveler and love nothing more than discovering new and exciting destinations. I document all of my trips (any other Type A friends out there?? lol) and love sharing my itineraries with anyone who is interested in visiting the same places. Whether it’s hiking through beautiful landscapes or relaxing on a sandy beach, I believe that travel helps to broaden our horizons and enrich our lives. I have traveled to several different countries and have had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of cultures and cuisines. I love trying new foods, wine, and immersing myself in the local way of life whenever I travel.

My passion for organization and creativity doesn’t stop at my personal life. I also help people plan events and offer a variety of services, including photography, DJing (music), and 360 photobooth rentals. I have been involved in the event planning industry for many years and have a wealth of experience in coordinating all types of events, including weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and more. I believe that events should be beautiful and well-organized, and I strive to help others create the same level of beauty and organization in their own lives.
